Terms of Service

By accessing or using Ecclesa's church management platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of a church or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

Ecclesa provides a cloud-based church management platform designed for Indonesian churches. Our Service includes member management, team coordination, service planning, volunteer scheduling, attendance tracking, and related features. The specific features available to you depend on your subscription plan. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service with reasonable notice.

To use our Service, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
• Ensuring that all users in your organization comply with these Terms

You may not share account credentials or allow multiple individuals to use a single account. Each user must have their own account.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. The Service is designed for churches and religious organizations to manage their congregations. You may use the Service to:

• Manage church member information and relationships
• Coordinate ministry teams and volunteer schedules
• Plan and organize church services and events
• Communicate with congregation members
• Track attendance and generate reports
• Manage groups and small group activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

• Violating any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
• Using the Service for any commercial purpose unrelated to church management
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
• Uploading malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Interfering with the proper functioning of the Service
• Harvesting or collecting user data without authorization
• Impersonating another person or misrepresenting your affiliation
• Using the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications
• Circumventing any security measures or access restrictions

The Service and all associated content, features, and functionality are owned by Ecclesa and protected by Indonesian and international intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your church's internal purposes during your subscription period. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service without explicit written permission.

You retain ownership of all data and content you input into the Service ("User Content"), including member information, event details, and other church data. By using the Service, you grant Ecclesa a limited license to host, store, and process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. You are responsible for ensuring that your User Content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.

Upon termination of your subscription, you may export your data within 30 days. After this period, your data will be permanently deleted from our active systems.

Subscription fees are charged according to the pricing plan you select. Payment terms include:

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance
• All fees are quoted and payable in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) unless otherwise specified
• You authorize us to charge your payment method for recurring subscription fees
• Failed payments may result in service suspension after a 7-day grace period
• Refunds are available within 14 days of initial subscription for first-time customers
• Price changes will be notified 30 days in advance and take effect at the next billing cycle

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may cancel your subscription through your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if:

• You breach any provision of these Terms
• You fail to pay subscription fees after the grace period
• We are required to do so by law
• We discontinue the Service (with at least 90 days notice)

Upon termination, you will have 30 days to export your data. After this period, we will delete your data according to our data retention policy. Termination does not relieve you of any payment obligations for the period prior to termination.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ECCLESA DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. You acknowledge that you use the Service at your own risk.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ECCLESA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability, so these limitations may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ecclesa and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights. This indemnification obligation will survive termination of these Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through arbitration administered by the Indonesian National Arbitration Board (BANI) in Jakarta, Indonesia. The language of arbitration shall be Bahasa Indonesia or English, as agreed by both parties.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to account administrators at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you may terminate your subscription before the changes take effect.
